The Texas Real Estate Mediation Center gives you the option of pre-suit mediation; a voluntary, nonbinding settlement conference officiated by a Certified Mediator with real estate experience, in which the parties attempt to resolve their dispute amicably and without resorting to costly and lengthy litigation.
Most real estate contract forms have a pre-suit mediation clause, requiring the parties to submit any dispute to mediation before filing a lawsuit. The Texas Real Estate Mediation Center, sponsored by the law firm of O’Donnell, Ferebee, Medley & Keiser, P.C., helps the parties comply with that contractual obligation by offering mediation services. As most disputes arise close to the date of the closing, the Center is committed to scheduling mediations promptly. Some disputes are minor, yet they are costly, and they stall they stall the transaction.

Most mediations can be scheduled at a convenient location mutually selected by the parties, or at one of our offices, located in North Houston and The Woodlands. The Center has a flexible fee schedule.
